Trout and Tzatziki Sauce

  • Juice of ½ lime  
  • Salt and black pepper to the taste  
  • 1 and ½ teaspoon coriander, ground  
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced  
  • 4 trout fillets, boneless  
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika  
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil  
  • For the sauce:  
  • 1 cucumber, chopped  
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced  
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil  
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar  
  • A pinch of salt and white pepper  


  1. Heat up a pan with the avocado oil over medium-high heat, add the fish, salt, pepper, lime juice, 1 teaspoon garlic and the paprika, rub the fish gently and cook for 4 minutes on each side.
  2. In a bowl, combine the cucumber with 4 garlic cloves and the rest of the ingredients for the sauce and whisk well.
  3. Divide the fish between plates, drizzle the sauce all over and serve with a side salad.
