Oriental Spicy Turkey Soup

  • 1 Bird’s eye chili, deseeded and chopped 
  • 2 Oriental sweets peppers, deseeded and chopped
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
  • 1 pound turkey thighs, deboned and cut into halves


  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a soup pot over medium-high flame.
  2. Then, sauté the peppers and onions until just tender and aromatic or about 3 minutes.
  3. Add in turkey thighs and five-spice powder; pour in 5 cups of water or vegetable broth.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover, and let it simmer cook for 15 minutes more.
